Amanda Faye Lipsey, Owner and Founder

Amanda Faye Lipsey, MFA, GPC, is a skilled grants professional, health education researcher, and patient advocate with more than 20 years of experience in fund development and communications. Her research has been featured in peer-reviewed journals such as BMC Nephrology, Patient Education and Counseling, Progress in Transplantation, and the Journal of Medical Internet Research. She has co-authored a book chapter on patient advocacy in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and a transplant toolkit for ESRD providers available through the ESRD Networks online.

Amanda Faye has raised funds for the University of California, Los Angeles, the Transplant Research and Education Center, Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Los Angeles Opera, the United States Bicycle Route System, the Florida Chamber Music Project, and many others. Her clients have won grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) (various branches), National Science Foundation (NSF), Department of Defense (DOD), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and many more. Amanda Faye is a GPA-Approved Trainer and GPCI Approved Education Provider.

In 2013, Amanda was awarded the Fundraising Professional of the Year Award by Fundraising Success Magazine.

In 2020, Amanda Faye founded Beyond Medicine – Patient Advocacy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting patient advocacy across healthcare organizations and improving whole patient care and well-being.

Amanda studied dance first at the University of South Florida and then earned an MFA from California State University, Long Beach.
